Abstract

|
Since Korean local autonomy system was introduced in 1991 and social welfare affairs were transferred to the local governments in 2005, each local government has developed its own self-rescue measures to bolster its social welfare capabilities according to the agenda of Korean government, civil organizations, and companies.
This article makes a basic research on the current situation of the Nonsan local social welfare system and the local people"s requests for the social welfare, analyzes their interests and problems, produces practical application plans, and suggests further projects for the better local social welfare system in the local society.
